Essential storage
When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Removing it signs you out. This storage is required for the account area — comparisons you save, trips, alerts and billing — and cannot be switched off while you are signed in.
Preferences
Choices such as your last selected destination, currency and travel amount may be kept locally so the comparison form is pre-filled next time. These are convenience values only and contain no personal identifiers.
Payments
When you start a paid upgrade, our payment provider sets its own cookies on its checkout window to process the transaction securely. We never see or store your card details.
Advertising and sponsored placements
Free accounts see clearly labelled sponsored placements. Where a placement links to a partner, we record only the click event (which placement, which card, and when) so we can report on it. We do not build advertising profiles or sell personal data.
Controlling cookies
You can clear cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and resets saved preferences; nothing in your account is deleted. See our privacy policy for how account data itself is handled.
